Hello Mommies and Daddies! Only five days till Christmas and 12 days till the New Year!
As part of your preparation for this special time of year, I invite you to take the Happy, Healthy Children with Pamela Cunningham, M.D. New Year’s Resolution Challenge:
What is the Happy, Healthy Children New Year’s Resolution Challenge 2022?
Over the two months, we’ve talked about several ways to improve the happiness and health of your child. These include providing clean, healthy drinking water for your child; modeling happiness for your child; avoiding toxic plastics; making sure your child is getting enough iodine in their diet or in supplements; having a guarded approach to processed sugars in your child’s diet; taking your child to the library regularly; minimizing screen time; and reading with your child.
In the Happy, Healthy Children New Year’s Resolution Challenge 2022, I invite you to make a New Year’s resolution to choose one of these items and implement it in your child’s life beginning on January 1, 2022. I would love to see you jump right in and implement all of the changes that we discussed. But sometimes when we decide to make a change in our lives or in the lives of our loved ones, taking small steps allows us to be more successful than trying to make multiple changes all at once.
For this new year 2022, make a resolution that you are going to implement one of the topics we discussed and really stick with it. Once you have mastered that improvement, incorporate another.
Please let us know how you are doing with your New Year’s Resolution!
Please email me at email@example.com and let me know about your progress. Also, please email me with any topics you would like me to discuss in the New Year.
Until then, I wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a blessed and prosperous New Year!
